The making of a Christmas card..

Christmas cards.  I love getting Christmas cards.  I love all the pictures of the kids growing year after year.  I love when people get really creative and have a funny card that you know they really thought about.   When I thought about my own Christmas card this year...I thought...why does everyone with kids get to have all the fun?  Moreover, doesn't everyone want multiple pictures of me on their fridge?  No?  Well...at least everyone wants a laugh! So, I did a little play on words from one of my favorite Christmas songs.  Everyone wants to know what turkey farm I went to.  TUREKY FARM?  Bah ha ha! I laugh in the FACE of the Turkey farm!  I found my own wild wandering turkeys at a local golf course.  Armed with my friend with a fancy camera and my dad for the not wild life adventure shots, I took a gamble one Sunday morning hoping to find one or two turkeys.  I found 40.  Literally.  Unfortunately, none of them wanted a make-out session under the mistletoe.  Weird. Oddly enough finding a frozen turkey to kiss under the mistletoe was more difficult!
I have a bunch of other great pictures from the day...but, for some reason blogger does not want to let me add them...stay tuned.  Until then, Merry Christmas!

  1. OF COURSE I can't figure out how to get my entire card to show up...If you are wondering the final show is me with Wild Turkey... and the caption is:
'Everybody knows a Turkey and some Mistletoe helps to make the season bright' at least that what Bing said. Although it's been said many times many ways, (but probably not like this!) Merry Christmas to you!
